Thoughts, stories, and lessons from my development journey
My Coding Journey: From "Hello World" to "What Have I Done?"
How I got started with coding...
I started coding 5 years ago and have built numerous projects...
but, uh... never actually released most of them. ๐
From basic HTML pages to full-stack apps, I've explored it all,
yet my biggest struggle has always been finishing and publishing my work.
Who knew that clicking "Deploy" would be harder than writing 10,000 lines of code?
Fun fact: I still have projects marked as "Final_Version_2_Real_Final" that were never uploaded. ๐คก
The Art of Starting But Never Finishing (A Developer's Curse)
A deep dive into my unfinished projects...
Every developer has a folder full of abandoned projects.
Mine? It's practically a digital graveyard. ๐ชฆ
There's a half-finished game, a to-do list app I never used,
and a "Next Big Social Media Platform" that was abandoned after two login screens.
Will I finish any of these?
Maybe...
But let's be real, starting something new is just way more fun!
(Meanwhile, my completed projects are just "Hello, world" programs... at least they work?)
That One Game I Made (But Never Released) ๐ฎ
It was going to be the next big thing... until it wasn't.
I spent months developing a game, designing levels, writing scripts...
Then I woke up one day, looked at the project, and said:
"Eh, maybe later."
And now it just sits in my hard drive, collecting dust.
Will I ever release it? Stay tuned for another 2-3 years of delays. ๐
(Or maybe I'll just rebrand it as "Early Access" and call it a day.)
Why Releasing is Harder Than Coding
Starting is easy, finishing is the real challenge...
The fear of imperfection, the never-ending tweaks,
and the classic "just one more feature" mindset.
At this point, my project completion rate is lower than my WiFi signal. ๐
If you've ever delayed a project for months (or years), you're not alone.
But hey, at least I launched this website... so there's hope, right?
Right? ๐ฌ
(Plot twist: I'm already thinking about redesigning everything again.)
๐ MangoCraft Server is Now LIVE!
Exciting news about MangoCraft...
After years of unfinished projects, I finally launched something!
The MangoCraft server website is officially LIVE! ๐
This marks a huge milestone, and I can't wait for players to explore the community.
Check it out, join the fun, and let's build something amazing together!
...unless I decide to redesign the whole thing next week because I suddenly hate it. ๐
Behind the Scenes: Building MangoCraft
The tech stack and challenges of creating a Minecraft server
Creating MangoCraft wasn't just about setting up a serverโit was about crafting an experience.
From custom plugins to community management, every aspect required careful planning.
The biggest challenge? Keeping everything stable while adding new features.
Did you know the first version crashed every 2 hours?
Through trial and error (and lots of coffee), we've built something truly special.
